This has been wandering over my desktop for some weeks now, and it was originally intended as a black and white illustration for a T-shirt I was about to make... But then, I stumbled with a lovely group called and I thought it was the excuse I needed for it to finally make it to my vector program of choice.
I hope you like it. Criticism and praises all equally welcome (I like to know what I can improve and also what am I doing right )
Next, if I'm in the mood, the wallpaper version and the b&w flat version.
I think it looks perfect as is. I love the design. There are certain areas that appear blunt and it would be nice to have the white all surround the swirls and shapes properly. It does in certain areas but others are not

Sometimes I believe that what's deceitful about images is not what they conceal but what they show, nor is how much they lie but how much they tell the truth.
Ehh!

It´s good to see you back with new works!
This one reminds me of a feeling I get from time to time about all the love circulating through the world and making it function though it would seem at first glance that few can notice it.
Even though I find beautiful the shapes and the inspiration, the colors of digital works give me some cold I cannot make get along with the idea of love. Perhaps it was intentional and I am missing the point?

While doing this I though a lot about love and how it spreads and creates more of itself in different ways, like among friends, family, people that respect each other and that special one also.
About the colors, it is true that they communicate differently. I relate the sensation of coldness in it, mostly in some vector art, with the smoothness of the colors and the gradients. There's no evident trace of the tool or the hand behind the tool but the work itself. At least not in the way traditional art does.
Anyhow, love can beat even the coldest of media.

Thank you so much for the :fav: , for your kind comment and for noticing the retro-ish. It is subtle, but I was thinking of it while making this and it pass on to the work somehow.

Thanks, I am really proud of that border myself. I love those kind of borders. ^^

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
